Recommended for ages 8 and up, this kit is great for those who show an interest in learning more about how electronics work as well as for those who simply love to build.

Other Snap Circuit systems may be combined with this one to add to the creative options and additional pieces may be purchased separately. Smaller kits (SC-100) are available for those wanting to start out with a smaller price tag.

The younger kids will probably need a bit of help understanding the concepts behind the individual projects, and those answers – available in the instruction booklet as well as online – may educate the grown-ups helping out too.
